it’s finally done! The first igfest is finished. this child of simon, one of the best outcomes so far of my residence at the pervasive media studio, has left me exhausted and exhilarated. These last three days have seen hundreds of people spread across bristol reusing and rethinking its public spaces, making animal calls in empty office quarters, getting shut into disused police cells, going head to head in games of laser ball, smuggling bad taste clothes through shopping centres and sneaking around multi-story carparks… while all the time having mindless fun (and a few frights).
